fluteler
fluteler is a native Midwesterner, retired, with time to play.

fluteler creates
"play-along" flute duet videos.  In a play-along duet
video, music scrolls across the screen while a flute plays one of the
two parts. This lets a viewer play along in duet with the flutist. Eleven
of these duets are now up on YouTube. Each video contains several
repeats, each one faster, so that a student may build up tempo skills.

Eight more videos will complete the current series, which is based on
a Boismortier Gavotte.

Fluteler has a blog,
Fluteler's Delight, which lists the videos in
performance order.

When YouTube re-compresses the audio to make online videos, they
sacrifice tone quality. Fluteler hopes to have higher quality versions of
the duets available for the digital music marketplace via the Techmark
site within the coming year. 2010.
