fluteler

fluteler is a native Midwesterner, retired, with time to play.

fluteler creates
"play-along" flute duet videos.  In these YouTube
videos, bars of music scroll across the screen while a flute plays one
of the parts. This lets a viewer play the other part in duet with the
flutist. Each video contains several repeats, each one faster, so that a
student may build up sight-reading and tempo skills.

fluteler has a blog,
Fluteler's Delight, which lists his play-along videos
in performance order.

fluteler sells sheet music packages for $1 on this site that let you play
the duets on any instrument. You do not need to be a flutist. Look for
the "
Fluteler's $1 Sheet Music Store"

In the last several months, fluteler has been experimenting with a little
Campagnoli duet, this time using synthesized flute to get the purest
possible pitch. This duet is available for all the instruments of the
band or orchestra and at many different tempi and pitches here on the
Techmark Arts site. It is called "
Artists Club #1".

In
Artists Club #1, there is a page for every instrument, with
(hopefully) correct transpositions. You can download a sheet of the
music for your own instrument at no charge. You can share it legally.

A beginner's version of the project (although this is not easy music for
beginners) is at "Fluteler's Fun Pages".  So check out...

Fluteler's Fun Pages  and  Fluteler's Artists Clubs.

Learning to play faster than the band lets you play better than the
band.
